Description
INSOMNIUM (lat.): sleeplessness, nightmare, bad dream.

This downloadable library contains 50 sounds in Native Instruments Kontakt format, designed to help you evoke the moments when surrounding sounds turn into dreams as one falls asleep.
The wind outside the window evokes a trip through deserted ancient hallways, a neighbourhood dog turns into a menacing werewolf howling at the moon, while a detuned piano playing in another room induces disturbing resonances of lonely schizophrenia.
Dark soundscapes, mysterious atmospheres, glitched up drones, mangled and morphed ambiences will set your imagination on course and inspire you along the way.
-compatible with Kontakt version 2.2.1 and above
-24 bit, 44.100 kHz wav files.
-50 continually looping patches with aftertouch and mod wheel modulation assignments.
-186 MB download rar file
NEW!
As a bonus, every customer who purchases INSOMNIUM, will also receive two sets of Impulse Responses created using the master wavs from the main library, totaling 102 IR files. You can use them in your favorite convolution processor, and they do sound pretty interesting, if you don't mind saying so myself. :-). (see player on the right and down corner -dry sound first, then several IRs)
I dare to recommend the free convolution reverb made by Liquidsonics, Reverberate LE, because it sounds good and allows you to tailor the hold and decay times for the IR file (quite necessary here, since the files are sometimes over 15 seconds long.)
Customers who already purchased the library will receive an email with the link for the additional download.
